Mexicali, Mexico.- A remarked leader in the local metalmechanical industry, TIMSA will be present in the fifth edition of BajaMak Industrial Expo at booth 605 as a buyer industry, showcasing its local faciltiy supplying requirements.

TIMSA established in Mexicali on 1991 and started with nearly 50 employees and has experienced a constant growth; its first facility was located at PIMSA I Industrial Park, from there the company moved to Guajardo section of this city and finally to Maran Industrial Park.

On 2006 TIMSA opened a facility at PIMSA IV Industrial Park and went from 400 employees in 2000, to the current 800 employees, representing 100% growth in less than 10 years.

TIMSA manufactures steel structures for ships that are assembled in NASSCO facility in San Diego. NASSCO represents its main client. TIMSA's new plant manufactures ducts and steel-sheet products, as well as piping products for ships.

 
Skyworks, one of the first industrial companies to confirm

Mexicali, Mexico.- Skyworks, one of the most representative manufacturing companies in this city and leader in technology, has confirmed its participation in the fifth edition of BajaMak Industrial Expo as buyer industry inside the Electronic Pavilion at booth 908.

The company's goal is to identify competitive suppliers for its local facility that allows it to strengthen its supply chain.

Skyworks started operation at 1969 and is now a world-class technology company dedicated to wireless communication components manufacturing. Certified with one of the highest quality standards such as ISO/TS:16949, the company accounts for 1,800 direct and indirect employees who are responsible of product assembly, testing and shipping.

BajaMak 2010 is ready

Tijuana, Mexico.- BajaMak Industrial Expo "At the Technological Frontier", the most successful event of its kind in Northwest Mexico will host its fifth edition this year.

This year's edition will be held next Thursday October 14, 2010 at Valle Bonito Industrial Park in Tijuana, Mexico.

The 2009 edition of BajaMak gathered 190 exhibitors including buyer industries and specialized suppliers, who participated searching to identify new business opportunities in order to increase market share.

2010
The exhibition layout has been modified this year in order to provide an agile flow to visitors, as well as to promote more attractive location and cost options to participating exhibitors.

Also special attention has been put to the US Pavilion in order to continue promoting business with the North America region.

Suppliers from all-over Mexico are invited also, as their participation has been increasing every year due to their special interest in this region.

Buyer Industries
In the 2010 edition of BajaMak, several buyer companies from the aerospace, metalmechanical, medical devices, electronics and automotive industries participate searching for new supplying options for their local manufacturing plants in order to increase supply-chain efficiency.
