DJO presenting a Manufacturing Keynote

Tijuana, Mexico.- During BajaMak Industrial Expo, Armando Vega, Manufacturing Director for DJO a leader manufacturing compnay for rehab medical devices will present the keynote "How to empower Manufacturing Best Practices".
Mark your calendar on Thursday August 26, 6:00pm at Lausana Hotel in Tijuana's industrial zone.
Anais Gonzalez, BajaMak's coordinator commented that this keynote is free and everyone, from suppliers to maquiladora executives are invited to attend, given that the event's objective is to share good manufacturing practices and experiences in order to strengthen the overall industrial knowledge base.


Anais Gonzalez also remarked that BajaMak has already held a keynote hosted in Mexicali by Kenworth Mexicana, and the plan is to hold a couple of keynotes more before BajaMak Industrial Expo next Thursday October 14 at Valle Bonito Industrial Park.

 
BajaMak confirms US Northeast Pavilion

Tijuana, Mexico.- Northeast US companies have confirmed participation in BajaMak 2010 inside a special pavilion focused in showcasing business oportunities that this dynamic region represents.
This pavilion includes the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and Maine.

The US Department of Commerce through its Connecticut branch office is currently signing interested companies. Among these companies we may find one dedicated to hardware, tooling and spindle manufacturing for Davenport Screw Machine accounting for 15 patents.
All of these companies are interested in exporting services and products to Mexico. Although some of them are currently exporting in small orders, now thay have plans to find representatives and/or distributors in order to grow together and provide a better service to local customers.

BajaMak at Tijuana Innovadora

Tijuana, Mexico.- The fifth edition of BajaMak Industrial Expo will be held during the first Tijuana Innovadora event.
Anais Gonzalez Fimbres, BajaMak's General Coordinator commented that BajaMak represents the industrial tradeshow where all attendees and participants of Tijuana Innovadora are invited in order to learn more about Baja California and Mexico's manufacturing industry.


Tijuana Innovadora visitors interested to attend BajaMak may use special transportation shuttles from Centro Cultural Tijuana (CECUT) to BajaMak available from 9:00am on Thursday October 14 at no-cost.
On October 14, Tijuana Innovadora's topic will be Sustainable Development to which BajaMak hosts a special Green Pavilion in order to promote eco-friendly products and services.
Tijuana Innovadora on October 14 hosts keynotes from Al Gore and Larry King, so Tijuana visitors will have an interesting schedule by attending BajaMak during the day and closing the day with both keynotes at CECUT, as reamrked by Anais Gonzalez.

BajaMak

BajaMak is the most successful industrial expo in Northwest Mexico and its main purpose is to increase the technological integration level in the country's maquiladora industry. Tijuana, Mexico.- Industrial Safety de Mexico has been confirmed as Gold Sponsor in the fifth edition of BajaMak Industrial Expo.

Care Fusion Mexicali and Tijuana, present in BajaMak

Tijuana, Mexico.- Care Fusion has signed participation for both its local plants to BajaMak Industrial Expo inside the Medical Devices Industrial Pavilion as a buyer industry.

Productos Urologos was once part of MDT Division of the former Cardinal Health Corporate, currently Care Fusion headquartered in Dublin, OH.

Care Fusion accounts for five facilities in Mexico: three located in Chihuahua, one in Mexicali and another in Tijuana, knowned as Sistemas Medicos Alaris, the former hosts 2,400 employees and is located in El Florido Industrial Park.

The company has joined BajaMak looking forward to identify new suppliers for both plants.
