 Automotive
As every outstanding industrial sector, Baja California is starting to develop in the automotive sector where great business opportunities are projected, because of the state's border with the US State of California, the world's seventh automotive consumer with an average of 29 million units market.
Companies such as Toyota Motor, Kenworth Mexicana, Hyundai Translead and the production of the Shelby Cobra mark the outstanding development in the state automotive industry, worth mentioning we find a growing number of supplier companies for cables, sensors, navegational systems, brakes, transmission reconstrucion, alternators.
 Aerospace
Aerospace industry in the state has sustained an important development in the last years, converting our region into the most important cluster in the country for this sector, hosting 50% of the total companies based in Mexico in this sector.
Upon signature of BASA -Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement- with the US, where Mexican Civil Aeronautic Authority is able to certify processes and products for the aerospace sector based in the country, opportunities are open for this industry to widen operations in our country and migrate to more complex processes.

 Metalmechanical
Baja's metalmechanical sector outstands for its dynamics and variety of products that range from automotive and vessel parts, oil extraction equipment to decorative products.This particular sector has been evolving from applying new technologies up to training a wide base of qualified workmanship.
Among renowned firms operating in this region, we can find Persal, Honeywell, Holley, Turbotec, Timsa, Manik, Mecalux, all of them subsidiaries from important international firms.
 Medical Devices
Baja California constitues the main state in the country to host industries focused in the medical accessories and products manufacture, with 56 industrial plants and 27,500 jobs in operation, with firms as Tyco Healthcare, Cardinal Health, Gambro Renal, Sunrise Medical, Breg, DJ Ortho, Medtronics among others.
82% of this sector investments come from the US and a great part of their headquarters are based in California, opening an important opportunity to make businesses because the allocation decision are just kilometers away in the Baja California industrial facilities.
Studies from the State Government estimate that supply and materials demand for these companies rise up to $ 1.5 billion USD.
